I was expecting overly sweet, because of the maple and fudge printed on the label, but this KBS is nicely balanced and the bourbon doesn't over power the stout.

I was hoping the fudge and maple would mask the coffee better. Not so much. It’s good. Just too much coffee for me.

Fudge in a bottle. Chocolaty, coffee with a hint of maple. Bourbon/oak doesn't come through much. Would pair well with waffles. 11% but doesn't come though as an alcohol or acidic taste.

Haven’t tried this varietal yet but hits the spot while setting up the 2nd Xmas tree.

This finally made its way to NC. This is a bourbon 🥃 barrel aged imperial stout with Mackinac Fudge Coffee ☕️, maple 🍁 syrup and chocolate 🍫

Stout with fudge! Just as decadent as it sounds. Also coffee overtones. Done right!

Strong aroma of chocolate, sweet and syrupy but not thick on the front end with the oakened barrel-aged coffee coming through as it passes over the tongue. Very good beer.

Loads of rich fudge upfront with light maple as an aftertaste. Excellent brew.
