This was a delightful surprise. I heard some good reviews but also heard it was extremely sweet, which I usually don’t like. However, it was damn near perfect, basically a better version of CBS IMO. I could drink this at least once a month.

Solid....maple is very subtle. Definitely getting a dark chocolate fudge. Nicely done!

Nice stout, chocolate fudge with a coffee finish and a tinge of bourdon. Pairs nice with this stick.

It's like drinking fudge. Unreal. I just had the KBS Espresso and thought that was amazing. I realize it's two distinctly different flavors, but the Mackinac is superior to the espresso.

Quite a bit of coffee (I may be more sensitive to this as a non-coffee drinker) with some nice chocolatey flavor too. I like the fudgey flavors without being too sweet overall.

11.0% ABV, 40 IBUs - Michigan didn't invent old-fashioned fudge, but it was perfected there. Founders pays tribute to this time-honored tradition w/KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge. By amplifying the rich chocolate notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee.

Strong aroma of chocolate, sweet and syrupy but not thick on the front end with the oakened barrel-aged coffee coming through as it passes over the tongue. Very good beer.
