It is sweeter than I remember from the last version a few years ago. Still good and smooth. Maybe could use a little more time in the barrel.

Has a fruity nose and a lot of cherry taste, much like Sam Adam’s cherry wheat. Manages to temper the burbon that, for me, ruins a lot of otherwise decent beers.

Founders Advent Calendar 2021 Day 17. Had to postpone this one since Nate and Shannon abandoned me for the weekend. Very light cherry. Lots of dry oak and syrup. Almost medicinal. Clean. Just not what I’m feeling.

Well not as I remember from the 2017 bottle, but that was also aged about a year when I drank it. Will age some of these, but for now....solid 4!

Fruity, vanilla and slightly yeasty. Almost like a Belgian. Very different and good.
