KBS is back! 2020 lost its mojo and in a few years of aging it will be amazing. 5-year vertical #3 of 5 (2017 and 2019 edge it out due to aging)

Delicious. Coffee, chocolate, bourbon flavor. Bitter from coffee but it's good. Semi sweet.

Aroma van koffie, chocolade en vanille. Ook wat bourbon. Mondgevoel is vol en zacht. Smaak is rijk met koffie en chocolade en geroosterde mout. Verwarmende afdronk met bourbon en hout. Eindigt droog en heeft een langdurige afdronk. Lekker weer!

KBS, CBS, and some of the variants of KBS are arguably my favorite beers, but 2020 wasn't one my favorite years of regular KBS (I love the the Maple Mackinac Fudge variant from 2020, though). 2021 is closer to some of my favorite years in the past. Solid.

Plakkerige karamelkleurige schuimkraag op een zwart bier. Aroma is Buisman Extra, vanille, chocolade. Mooie structuur, zacht bittere smaak, chocolade, gebrande mouten, vanille, koffie,salmiakbal, Buisman extra, alcoholisch warm.

Fucking master is dit. Echt al drie weken zin in dus +0,25. Absoluut chocolade, wat geroosterde koffie en lekker doch subtiel drankachtig. Eigenlijk alles lekker aanwezig en toch subtiel genoeg. Joepie!
