Great as usual, I'd like to see Founders up the ABV from year to year to make it a different batch and taste.

Oh yeah. I drank this one and the other one was used to soak some brats. Great choice both ways.

Sorry old friend, but your overused levels of coffee, have not made you nearly as good. With that said, you have been downgraded. Still good, just nothing to write home about any longer.

So much Bourbon! I hate Bourbon! Texture, initial coffee and chocolate notes are spot on though. A real shame this doesn’t taste like beer but tastes like Bourbon

After bourbon...I like stout. And this is a lovely one. Would take a little bottle aging and it would be very good. High alcohol liquorice instantly, mellows to chocolate, not tasting the coffee.... Will be buying more.

(backlogging, April) Bittersweet chocolates, molasses, coffee. Vanilla, bourbon, hints of soy. Rich and creamy.

Smooth bourbon and coffee. Light chocolate flavor on the back. Wish it had more body to it.

My palate is getting more sophisticated, or they changed the recipe, or I don't like coffee stouts as much as I used to. Coffee upfront that's more prominent than I remember, followed by equal parts chocolate & bourbon. Really good, but not a 5.
