Heerlijk geroosterd en chocolade aroma. In de smaak zacht geroosterde koffie, hinten van Bourbon en donkere chocolade. Zachte koffie toetsen in de afdronk.

With time the heat has worn off, and the flavors have opened up. But I think it was better before the sellout

Simpelweg teleurstellend. Deze komt af en toe voorbij op Reddit en wordt altijd opgehemeld. Vrij weinig smaak, alleen donkere coco en koffie. Geen barrel aged praktijken te proeven helaas.

Bottled in August 2021. Smooth chocolate and coffee flavor with a little sweet bourbon flavor. While very good it doesn’t hold up against some of the better barrel aged stouts.

Classic oldie, but thoroughly surpassed by a lot of BBA’s from Nøgne Ø, Vocation, Monkey Brew and a lot more

Store had this 10/2021 batch and 03/2019 batch, I grabbed 2 of each for comparison. This batch seems less viscous and has a big cola flavor. Barrel flavor is there but not getting the usual chocolate and coffee vibes

Revisiting an oldie but goodie. Dark chocolate/coffee but didn't get much of the barrel.. wasn't aware they were making this beer still actually.

It's really lost a lot of It's flavor. Seems too early perhaps it's just this bottle.
