Yeah, this is mostly chocolate forward in smell & taste, then semi-sweet coffee, then bourbon, then all 3 mixed & mingled together at the end.

I said before that Mocha Ralphius was better. That's not true. They're the same quality, but different taste. Ralph is smoother, more roasty coffee chocolate, while KBS is more bourbon, chocolate, then coffee. I like less smooth sometimes. This is why.

Black as ever. Lots of dark chocolate and vanilla on the nose. Extremely chocolatey. Seems like it cuts a bit of the vanilla barrel character, lots dark chocolate. Also pretty mellow vs memory, way easy to sip and doesn’t have a booze punch. Always great.

22.04.21.b.b. 22.04.22. Ой давно его пил,даже не запомнил. Захотелось перепробу классики. Ну аромат богат конечно,кофе,бурбон,все дела. Вкус полу сухой,послевкусие отменное,вяжет чуть. Ну классно,че уж там..Теперь чекну под винтажем.Тогда тупо 5 поставил.

Мда, не зря считают эталоном🤩. Ароматика кофе, горького шоколада, ноток бочки, вкус туда же: очень приятная бочка, шоколад и кофе, при этом сухо, нотки сладости приходят немного через шоколад. Алко не лезет, но при этом в груди греет существенно. 640р.

Yeah. Beers like Cycle's R2 & 8Year, & Hoppin Frog's 5x DORIS, definitely have some unique burnt/smokey flavors that you can't find in shorter aged BB stouts, but the balance of flavors just isn't as good/smooth as beers like KBS & Bourbon County.

En helt fantastisk stout, god sødme og bitterhed, både kaffe og chokolade træder tydeligt igennem. En af mine favoritter.
