Simpelweg teleurstellend. Deze komt af en toe voorbij op Reddit en wordt altijd opgehemeld. Vrij weinig smaak, alleen donkere coco en koffie. Geen barrel aged praktijken te proeven helaas.

Bottled in August 2021. Smooth chocolate and coffee flavor with a little sweet bourbon flavor. While very good it doesn’t hold up against some of the better barrel aged stouts.

Store had this 10/2021 batch and 03/2019 batch, I grabbed 2 of each for comparison. This batch seems less viscous and has a big cola flavor. Barrel flavor is there but not getting the usual chocolate and coffee vibes

Ярко выраженная бочка и кофе с шоколадом. Хороший баланс. Никакой спиртуозности при комнатной температуре пива. Стойкое послевкусие тёмного шоколада. Аромат просто пушка. Но с бочкой немного пережали. Хз какое это пиво было в 2021, но в 2024 оно норм.

There are worse beers, but it is so hard to fathom how much this beer has been passed in its style. I used to chase delivery trucks for this beer, now it tastes wafer thin. Flavor is still solid though

Freshly bottled, about a month old. Pungent, powerful coffee. Thin body, little barrel. Easy drinking for a twelve percenter.

Unimpressed with the first bottle of this 4 pack. Undeniably roasty with no barrel to speak of. Thin and watery. Let's hope this isn't the trend on the other 3

Kaffe, fat, lite choklad och rostad malt. Lättare kropp än tidigare år. Betydligt mindre bourbonkaraktär. Förväntar mig mer

Har gett den här 4.5 förr men nu får den inte riktigt så bra. Vet inte om det har med årsgången att göra men den här kändes inte lika smooth, rätt spritig och spetsig men helt klart god ändå. Inget wow som sist dock.
