From the stash. Still big bold coffee notes, though seems maple has burned off for the most part, as expected. Really darn good though. 4.40

Last night on the Lake. Cracking open an oldie! Delicious. Syrupy. Sweet. Slight bitter chocolate bite at the end.

Thick and boozy...11.6% bomber! Perfect for yet another gloomy rainy day. Has held up fantastic after 3 years of maturing. Thanks Herb! 🍻

Comparing to the 2017, I think it was less boozy, a bit creamier chocolate. I think I liked the 2017 just a tiny bit more. Still great

Amazing beer! This bottle has been resting in my beercellar for 2.5 years and taste just beautiful! Vanilla, dark chocolate, smoke, leather, sweet brown sugar, molasses, bourbon barrels, maple syrup and coffee. Smooth with low carbonation. I'm in love 💕

The maple has taken more a a backseat to the coffee, chocolate, roasted cocoa beans and barrel. Subtle sweetness. Aged well. Still a great brew.

Kahvia on mutta kevyemmin kuin saman vuosikerran KBS:ssä. Suklaisuutta löytyy ja vaahterasiirappia myös, joka ei ole kuitenkaan niin selkeä kuin muissa maistamissani vuosikerroissa. Todella tasapainoinen kuten CBS aina.

Been holding onto this 2018 for the right time, and the late great Bobby Bowden—who I just barely got to know at FSU—is most worthy of a toast. No need to describe CBS. You’ve all had it. 🍻
