4.35/5 this has held up very well. Maple is spot on. Big and chocolatey. Thick.

Coffee is on the front followed quickly by maple syrup. Long, oaky finish.

Wow. A barrel aged breakfast stout. Roasty, strong, sweet. Amazing version by the kings/queens of barrel aged.

Awesome as always, gutted this could be my last ever CBS with it no longer being available, although I’ll still have KBS to enjoy

It has breakfast in the name, so it's not too early for this right?

Underwhelming compared to more recent version of the style.

Coffee, malt and dark chocolate. Tastes even better aged.

This pic is of me from 40 years ago when I had my first beer, Schlitz from a keg. Beer has come a long way! This CBS is amazingly good with the flavors spot on. It aged really well!

This is bonkers delicious and smooth. Hits heavy but goes down like a 5-7%er. Wow. Just wow. Barely bourbony, lightly mapley.

2018. Closest thing I had to what I wanted to serve with a southern-style dinner with pulled pork and sides. Maybe sweeter than I would have preferred for the pairing, but still tasty. Chocolate, woody, with maple. Smooth and balanced.

Maple seems to have fallen off a bit. Coffe, chocolate, and barrel notes still rocking out though.

Chocolate and maple syrup are abundant and up front. Bourbon followed with sweet vanilla notes. Licorice on the back end. Finishes with coffee notes and warming chocolate. Velvety smooth, boozy. Cellared beautifully. Absolutely delicious.

Still super delicious... but is the maple fading?

Always delicious, and the benchmark for all Breakfast Stouts both foreign and domestic.
