I guess I’m not a fan of extracts , flavors are there but the feel of this is a bit off for me. Usually Founder’s hits higher for me.

Porter met maple sirup en vanille extract, gerijpt op Bourbonvaten. Een goedkoper aftreksel van het originele recept lijkt mij. Desalniettemin niet slecht.

Zeer lekker. Bourbon, vanille en ahornsiroop. Goed gebalanceerd smaakbommeke. Verrassend 'laag' alcoholpercentage voor dit genre. Topper

Vanilla and maple are pretty mild. Good bourbon flavor. Pretty good beer but would like a bigger flavor

Sweet scent like chocolate and caramel. On the palate, the sourness and bitterness derived from hops spread sharply, and then the sweetness like chocolate gradually spreads.

If brewed in 2011 this would have been incredible. 2021 Founders is a shell of the brewery I fell in love with.

Wished it had more maple but it already has a good balance and not too sweet.
