very good Porter but for the past standards of founders this is such a pile of shit of what they would normally offer-If you didn’t know then I’m so sorry-they used to really be good

Too much barrel and a bit hot. It does get better as it warms.

Malty, roasty, not boozy. Vanilla from barrels is overpowered by the extract. Sadly not much bourbon.

okay, dessert beers may have a new flagship. this is ridiculous. all maple and vanilla. even the barrel takes a backseat. the “robust porter” is completely buried. flavors are quite good, but this is absolutely a dessert cocktail, not a porter at all.

Sweet, light with vanilla and maple. Don't taste much barrel. Ok not great.

Taste the vanilla right away. Crisp mouth feel with a hoppy vanilla finish.

I mean...I get it. I searched for it and it’s a good beer, especially for the price. I’m not sure if I’d buy another 4 pack. I’d like to get it on draft to see if it’s better.

maple and vanilla is light thankfully due to the light body content, barreling is evident and lends a hand to balance the adjuncts but sweetness is too apparent for me

This is a hefty 9.2% alcohol, which it hides amongst all the malt. This is something you have to drink by itself. Not bad, but a bit malty for my taste.

Sweet, but smooth, really smooth. Pretty darn good. Flavor is awesome without being too overpowering. Probably be amazing in 2 or 3 years.
