Wow!!! Bourbon barrel aged porter with vanillas and maple syrup. Not too sweet and not too boozy and as the bottle says “this kitty has claws!” Thanks for finding this Nathaniel!!!

Fantastic beer. Sweet, chocolate, coffee, some maple. Balanced.

Nice slow sipper. Thick maple, molasses, vanilla. I love smelling it each time I raise my glass. I'm sure you don't need to be told, use a glass.

Vanilla more on the the back end. Very boozy but yet smooth and enjoyable. Can’t tell where boozy stops and maple begins.

Definitely get some boozy flavor. Light notes of vanilla. Nothing to differentiate the boozy from the maple with the sweetness.

Very good Porter aged in bourbon barrels. Touch of vanilla and maple syrup. Smooth drinkable 9.2% ALC. My first Founders brew was their regular Porter in a Grand Rapids restaurant 3 yrs ago. Now my favorite brewery!

okay, dessert beers may have a new flagship. this is ridiculous. all maple and vanilla. even the barrel takes a backseat. the “robust porter” is completely buried. flavors are quite good, but this is absolutely a dessert cocktail, not a porter at all.

Not bad. Vanilla and maple are present. Nice barrel. Thin, but it’s labeled as a porter!

A&W Cream Soda w/brownies. Ender of a long afternoon. Least favorite of the three bottles I had, but also post Lambic, Lager, Scotch.

Maybe the last bourbon-barrel beer for a bit if the weather keeps up. Mild enough one. Maple and vanilla really smooth it out.

Smooth and creamy. Maple gets taken over by the vanilla, and the barrel flavor is almost non existent. Guess that better that the sharp artificial barrel flavor that has plagued their beers for the last several years.

My sis made me try it. The nose is classic fbs, kbs, cbs. Roasted bitterness. The flavor is not. Immediate sweet bourbon, maple & vanilla. Infused? All good. The expected bitterness & acidity of the porter is masked. Enjoyable. 4.22 #FUCV

Yummy- a little lighter than the other imperial porters which is nice.
