I mean...I get it. I searched for it and it’s a good beer, especially for the price. I’m not sure if I’d buy another 4 pack. I’d like to get it on draft to see if it’s better.

Pairing this with breakfast is a must! This porter has such deep flavor throughout each sip, and just the right amount of booziness to kick ya in the teeth later!

Smell of vanilla and caramel and a bit of cookies, a very rich taste of concentrated malt, a bit of roasty nuances but definitely vanilla and maple forward.

I’m finding an off taste in beers that use vanilla extract instead of just the beans .... still good except for that small thing.

The vanilla came through first and the maple finished well. For a bourbon barrel aged porter, I didn’t get the stronger bourbon taste that I’m used to with bb aged beers. Had that been there, this would have been nearly perfect.

BB aged and at 9.2% puts this between it's Porter classification and desert stout. Very tasty with subdued maple and vanilla flavors and not too sweet.

I've been looking to try this one ever since Founders announced it. Thanks to my awesome wife, I now have some. It is a super solid porter that starts crisp and finishes a little sweet and chocolaty. Not too heavy of beer. Great job Founders, as usual.

Ooohhh yeahhhhh! Sweet, mapley, touch of vanilla. Malty, slightly bitter finish. This kitty does have claws, she stalks and pounces.
