This one aged almost 2 years…still fabulous balance of hops and malts

From Ray's cellar. Watching Cowboys...need this win. Nose is citrus and wine booze. Sips bitter. Some wine notes but hops are leathery and peppery. . Not a big fan.

#BiL. Holding up nicely. Would like to compare to TCOA if same vintage.

Brawny and boozy. Rich choco-maltiness. Bitterness that more than holds its own. Smooth and creamy. Very good!

Dik gehopte Amerikaanse barleywine. Niet mijn favoriete variant, maar deze is wel lekker.

Ох ти омериканський барлік токой. Дуже охмелено, хочеться більше карамелі

Гірко, карамельно і мегаохмеленно - в всій красі американський барлік

Roasty bitter coffee, caramel sweetness, hoppy, lingering charred roasty malts. This stands out to me amongst the admittedly small number of barleywines I’ve had as leaning much more towards hops and bitter charred malt profile. Interesting beer.
