Beautiful dark color with an amber hue. Sweet woody on the nose. Burnt caramel, a touch of smoke. A touch of honey. Really nice! Not as sweet as most barley wines but definitely unique and drinkable.

Michigan beer always tastes better when the Giants beat the dodgers in LA. #Crawfordcatch

#beerforbricks quelle amertume ! C'est bien mené même si ça couvre un peu les autres goûts qu'il faut chercher un peu plus.

A truly interesting and very complex brew! I’m finding that I detect sweetness, bitterness, dryness, prunes, and even some spiciness!! Crazy, but crazy good! Bottled on 3/9/21

Neat idea for a series. Own the struggle? Hardly a bad barleywine. Certainly much tamer with raisiny esters and residual sugars. Like this one for how much roast there is to swirl around and let unfold. Thank you Paul!

Very nice…but more like an imperial than a barley wine.

Fascinerende smaakcombi. Fluweelzachte barleywine met bittere afdronk. Is op zich wel iets voor mij zo'n (rare) combi maar de bittere afdronk is echt té.
