Darker, with more roast character than is typical for barleywine. As much roast character as many imperial stouts. Result is a drier impression than expected. Nonetheless, really enjoyable and well balanced.

Wow!! A lot going on i this one. Based on dark color would not have expected the piney hops with the barley wine funk on the backside. Not bad just a big transition from my previous beer.

Final brew as a 28yo and damn, did I pick a fine one! The smell already slightly gives it away: the tastebuds are in for a hopsplosion! Extremely bitter, with sick roasty overtones. Not for the faint of heart.

Woody, leather. Dark chocolate, spicy, tons of cocoa, ash, roasty. Light sweet heavy bitter. Long roasty heavy bitter, alcohol is first hidden later suddenly appears. Full body dusty creamy soft carbonation. Heavy dessert beer, simple, very tasty.

Fantastic after a year. Much more depth, lower bitterness minimal astringency.

I wanna know who decided to make 5000 gallons of Nemesis last year. Also, thanks because this shit for $4 a 4 pack is pretty awesome.

Lekker zoetje, gebrande mout komt mooi naar voren qua smaak en afdronk. Erg lekkere barleywine.

Kept this little puppy for almost a year. Love the hoppy play with the sweet maltiness
