Boozy and bitter (maybe too bitter, like me). Not much roastiness.

Mouthfeel was quite light, slightly flat feeling. Wishing for more prominent, developed malt and/or yeast driven flavor. Hop bitterness is there, alcohol is present in the flavor. Leaves me searching for and wanting something more.

Black IPA! Super west coast hoppy rich medium dry balanced can’t get past the hop bitterness

Quite different, even for a barley wine. Lots of flavors going on here. Thanks for another delivery Daniel G.!

It's not bad, but as a personal preference I don't like the bitter/hoppy taste on the backend of what is supposed to be a barleywine. I wonder if a couple of years of aging would mellow it? Let's find out!

More of a strong ale, not a barley wine. Tastes of burnt malts, some bitter hops. Once the carbo lessons, it’s good.

Doesn't taste much like a barleywine but is pretty balanced and does not taste boozy for 11.2.

It’s fruity and sweet on the nose. The palate is sweet at first then more bitter on the finish. There’s more going on than I can identify. It’s a good beer to sip slowly and enjoy

Yep, same rival as last time. Still stereotypical barley wine aromas & flavors as the previous night. And, believe it or not it is still a great change up, yet a great reminder of the roots/ bare-bones of this style. Also, did it for the badge. 👍🤘

Overly hopped, not quite right for a barley wine. Good malt back but not enough. Still enjoying it but just want more cramelly maltiness.

STRONGLY dislike the extremely bitter hop finish. I would never guess this is a barleywine.

Very fresh. Very bitter. So glad founders found a way to make this again. I’ll age the other bottle and see how this develops.
