Chilton's Last Call Amber

Red Ale - American Amber / Red

A collaboration with our friends at Briess Malt to say goodbye to their 120 yrar old malt house in Chilton, Wisconsin and celebrate the full opening of the new Manitowoc operation. The Last Call malt, a rich pale malt, and the Carmel malt in this brew were the last produced at the historic location.

Great Amber for me. A little roasty, not overly malty, still a little bitter.

Leans to the sweeter side of the spectrum of ambers. Could use an infusion of more hops to balance it out more.

Dry. Subtle scents and flavors. Not a ton of flavor, but enjoyable.
