Brown Ale i burbonfat. Häftigt. Mandelmassa, apelsin, sherry och för mycket av det mesta.

Skön mustig bourbonlagrad brown ale, långkörare. Det står något om apelsinskal och cherry på flaskan men dit hittar jag inte med min prippsbesudlade tunga. Känns mer lite fudge'ig i min mun. Det är något med bourbon och mina smaklökar som gifter sig 👌🏻

Wow! Deep brown with a tanned head. Full bodied caramel, bourbon (yes it's boozy) with vanilla, some wood, cherry, a delicate spiciness. Very well balanced both in aroma and flavour. Bottled on: 07.06.2021

Looks more like a red ale than brown, the aroma is boozy, of whisky, and the taste is seriously strong, with bourbon and dried fruit (raisins, dates and apricots) predominating. There’s also caramel, vanilla and spices, but those are less obvious. Nice!

Barrel aged, again. This one's much better than the other one earlier this week. But, I think I should put a note to self: barrel aged are not really my cup of thing, although this one is quite good.

Back to the cellared stash!! This one bottled in July 2021. Smooth & slightly sweet cherry & orange flavor. Bourbon barrel gives it a nice ABV kick. Have enjoyed all of the bottled shop series from Founders & in some cases more than the KBS variants.

Barrel aged brown ale with loads, and I mean loads of orange zest. Quite nice.

Damn, that's amazing. Bourbon, orange zest, marzipan, hints of cherry's, it's so damn close to an old fashioned. Mindblown. And also quite quaffable for 11% vol.

Marzipan. Orange. Amaretto. Coconut. Incredibly close to an Old fashioned. Nice how the bourbon is embedded.

Alot of alcoholtaste, it's ABV 11% so not too much of a suprise in that sense. It"s honeysweet without the honeytaste.A little homebrewie in a strange way. Conclusion: a little too sweet and the alctaste is a bit to much in your face so to speak:)

A bit sweet, but follows the construct of the inspiring cocktail. Nice texture and overall does a nice job bringing the orange zest and bourbon.

Men den här var det väl inget fel på? Rejäl bourbonkick och ganska värmande. Diskreta drag av apelsin/körsbär. Tror faktiskt inte att jag hade plockat ut det om jag inte visste att den skulle innehålla det.

A really nice and dark brew with a lot of flavors. Barrel, cherry, vanilla and caramel. Yum!
