G; karamel, melk chocola, pralines, butterscotch, boterig, suiker. M; super zacht, boterig, melkchocolade, karamel snoepjes, plakkend. N; suikerig, droog, boozy, vanille. Poh!

Vanilla up front, then the Bourbon pushes its way in before being followed by coffee and chocolate

Almost two years gone by, and likely a bit hot out for the choice, and this one still hits the right notes for me. Rich and smooth brown ale accented by notes of vanilla and chocolate and bourbon. Just a touch too sweet to be perfect, but still so nice.

Sweet-bitter scents of cocoa & coffee. The same experience in the taste with vanilla aroma, slightly creamy, but not like an imperial stout. An easy to drink brown ale with high alcohol content, but still harmonic & exquisite choice after a summer dinner.

Excellent imperial brown ale to start off the holiday weekend. Another winner from Founders.
