Velvet Rush

Brown Ale - Imperial / Double

Borrowing elements from both high-end craft cocktails and moody jazz clubs, Velvet Rush takes the bourbon barrel-aged brown ale up an octave with free-flowing notes of coffee, chocolate and vanilla extract. Milk sugar aids in weaving together this complex tapestry of flavors to create a unique sipping experience that really ties the room together.

Really well integrated and balanced. Just the right amount barrel (subtle) and really like seeing this sorry of thing as an imperial brown rather than the typical stout, love them as I may.

If you take a whiff, you might think you’re about to drink a chocolate liqueur, or possibly an alcoholic mocha. There’s a buzz around the tongue, along with tastes of cola, dark chocolate, and chicory. A unique brown ale that packs a punch.

Great beer by the fire last night at kettle moraine campground. Coffee smell which leads into a heavy espress flavors throughout the beer. Slight burbon taste which mingles well. Thin beer and mild roastyness- very easy to drink. Best brown ale I've had.

Plenty of coffee flavor. I apreciates Hyvee's single bottle selection once in a while.
