Could’ve fooled me - this brown ale almost looks, and certainly tastes, somewhat like a stout. Wish it was punchier though. The coffee and chocolate are most prominent. Very clean finish. Pretty good.

Zwart, weinig schuim. Kersen bonbon! Koffie en cacao, kersen, vanille. Bourbon op het einde. Verwarmend. Dik, romig. Thanks Remco!

I'm typically not a fan of Brown Ales as they seem as exciting as my dad's brown '78 Oldsmobile... but when Founders does one it's like a luxurious, handcrafted leather chair

Wat een heerlijk gebalanceerd bier! Koffie, chocolade en vanille in een romige mix. Dat alles overdekt met een mooie laag bourbon van de vaten waarop het bier is gerijpt. Mooie combi van smaken.

Smooth and mild . Hint of vanilla. Could drink this all day long. Wouldn't know this is an 11% beer. Delicious.

Ganz klare Kaffee, Kakao und Schoko Noten. Dabei aber deutlich schlanker als ein Stout trotz der 11%. Eher ein Dessertbier, im Winter aber auch mal einfach so gut
