Direct chocolade, koffie in aroma. Karamel, koffie, chocolade, vanille in smaak. Mist volmondigheid.

From the stash and approaching 2 years old. Imperial brown ale with slightly sweet vanilla and chocolate flavor. Barrel flavor makes a small appearance on the back end. Makes me wish Founders would make Underground Mountain Brown ale again.

Should've had the Breakfast Stout, I mean it tastes nice, the sweetness from milk sugar, coffee, chocolate & bourbon is good, just tastes bloody watery & lacks depth due to it.

Dit is echt een fijn aards bier. Koffie, aards, cacao, vanille, lichtmoutig, zacht in de mond, romig, zoet, medium body. Ik denk dat deze met een kwart van de lactose nog 3x beter is, wat een lactosebom.

The aroma is absolutely wonderful and there are some really nice chocolate, cream and sugar/treacle notes. Unfortunately, for my taste, that thin body just takes away too much from the enjoyment. Potential for a 4.5 here but....
