Raw cacao and dark chocolate. Super dark espresso. Barrel has mellowed — delicious.

Slightly more improved than the 2020 I had a few months back. The bourbon and coffee were again well balanced, but the flavor was a bit more pronounced. Another welcomed addition was a hint of cocoa I got at times. TY momma Weiskopf! ☺️

Not the beer for a hot day mowing the yard, more like desert after a good dinner. It's great for that though, chocolate coffee.

This stout tastes illegal, as in I should be tiptoing down to the local speakeasy to partake of such fne libations. Also enjoying a 12% beer on a Sunday seems like it should be upsetting someone! Espresso & bourbon barely tempered by woody chocolate.

Founders’ Barrel Aged Series never disappoints. Coffee and chocolate aromas, in mouth is smooth and sweet until the coffee hits right before the warmth of the Bourbon appears leaving an lovely bittersweet aftertaste. Wonderful beer…
