Aroma is smooth and nutty. Taste is creamy and nutty with a dark cocoa finish. Excellent.

Road soda is legal in Mississippi as long as I’m not driving. At least that’s what I’ve heard. As KBS always does for me I get big coffee flavor and with this one at first a lot of hazelnut. But the more I drink, the less powerful it is…which is good.

Damn Founders! Hazelnut is the word! Very much hazelnut on the nose and first taste then notes of coffee and chocolate and the great bourbon burn at the end. Is this dessert or beer. Don't care cuz it's awesome!

Wow! Everything you hope for in a bourbon barrel stout, with coffee and chocolate overtones. The flavor-forward hazelnut makes it special & you get it from the nose all the way to that first exhale after swallowing. Get this if you see it!

Too cold right outta fridge gonna let it sit 30 minutes or so to get room temp…..now im getting that cool room temperature Hazelnut Coffee flavor with chocolate all around and nice boozy kick. Its dynamic!

This is one of the better KBS variants. The hazelnut is there but doesnt over power. The coffee and barrel are balanced. Mildly sweet.
