This is another one that knocks it outta the park. I was wondering if it’d be overly sweet or artificially gunky from the hazelnut, but it’s the complete opposite. The hazelnut is prominent but compliments the bourbon and roasted malts really well

Even with a 4.5 this was a bit disappointing. Hazelnut + KBS? I assumed a 5 but I guess my expectations were too high. still this is great stuff.

Hazelnut is perhaps the best variant from an overall aroma/taste perspective.

Thick, rich, smooth and SWEET! A lot of flavors happening, but the hazelnut definitely comes through strong.

Pleasantly surprised with this. A solid kbs variant. Typical kbs flavors but that hazelnut is a nice addition

Not a hazelnut person per se, but this was not really intrusive to my sensibilities. Long live KBS and all of its variants!!

Might be heresy, but this is better than the original. The hazelnuts blend and balance everything out superbly.

I’ve never thought I was drinking tree bark before. And I love KBS. I couldn’t finish the bottle.

This may be better than the KBS . Trying to age a few bottles but its so good now. Smooth chocolate with a hint of hazelnut, its amazing

I love hazelnut, so I was super excited about this. Wound up disappointed. It just doesn't trip my trigger.

Imperial stout. Tastes of hazelnut, coffee, and light chocolate. These tastes are pretty thin and fade pretty quickly. Boozy and the booze lingers. This is perhaps the worst KBS variant I've had, Mackinaw fudge being the best. Not bad, not great.

Pretty boozy and sharp, but had a cheap coffee vibe to it. The hazelnut was more in the nose than a nutty flavor, but still solid. Barrel seemed like an afterthought

Fln. Not as good as I had hoped...and definitely not my favorite KBS...but still good.
