Héél zachte en zoete geur van chocolade en vooral hazelnoot. Smaakt ook zo, maar met ook bittere koffie en wat alcohol in de smaak. Had net iets dikker mogen zijn

Bit disappointed, to be honest. Not nearly as good as regular KBS.

Like a hazelnut liquor and a chocolate stout had a baby. Not thick just right. Not really sweet either. Dangerous at that percentage.

Nice stout, although the hazelnut seems very artificial.

See previous reviews of original KBS & add a whopping great hazelnuttiness flavor & sweetness but take away almost all bourbony/boozy/barrel aging intensity. Definitely smoother & sweeter than the base. What happened Founders, time for some fresh barrels?

2/18 — I don’t get any hazelnut. I’ll give Founders an “A” for effort but this is straight coffee

Smells really good tastes kind of bitter and thin. Too bad really wanted this to be good.

Definite coffee and hazelnut... If you like that it's going to be great for you!

For dessert but maybe I should've left more room. Or I don't like hazelnut as much as I thought. Coffee comes out even more

Very hazelnutty, but lacking the viscosity and sweetness that I remember other variants having

Decent. Used to think KBS was the gold standard. These days it seems to have more of a stale coffee taste. 🤷🏻♂️

Lots of coffee and hazelnut up front that over power it. Probably would be best letting this one mellow for a year or so

Fresh bottle. Tons of great hazelnut aroma. Drank like a KBS, with above-average hazelnut flavor, balanced well without coming across as boozy. Slightly chalky aftertaste. Could be a little sweeter. Untitled Art BA Hazelnut is better.

Nope. Tastes burnt and no sweetness that the hazelnut should give.

I'm just gonna say it. KBS variants just aren't stellar. Good, but not stellar. I feel like their ratings are boosted because of how great OG KBS is.

I just don’t know about KBS anymore seems to really have gone downhill.

I’m all for hazelnut, definitely my favorite coffee creamer, but there’s a tough astringency to it once it warms up. Every KBS variant, I think starts out better then the base, but this one falls flat faster then the others.

The hazelnut is pretty overpowering but I really don’t mind that. The barrel is very underwhelming and that takes away for me.

Mostly coffee and some hazelnut. Not really getting any barrel flavor. Not a big fan of most KBS variants. Founders needs to step the KBS game up.

tbe hazelnut overpowers all Barrel comes out a tad (and I mean a small tad) after it warms up a bit. The OG KBS still outclasses these variants. Maybe they are trying too hard and pressured since becoming macro brewery owned and putting avg stuff out?
