basically a nutella stout. not bad, for sure, but definitely an adjunct-forward dessert beer.

Smooth, roasty, lots of Hazelnut. Much better flavor in a stout than coffee.

More sharp, less smooth than that last beer I just had. But I like that it's a breakfast one and it's not as sweet.

Dark in color. Little head light lacing. Hazelnut with hints of cocoa on nose. Creamy mouthfeel reveals pungent acidity expected from the Imperial style but mostly hazelnut, toffee, and cocoa on taste. Balanced. Paired well with my Whoopie Pie.

Lots of hazelnut. Alcohol is a bit piercing. Could use a little more flavour integration and decadence.

Too funny…my wife says it tasted like 7-11 smells and it’s true. That situation improves a bit as it warms. Definitely prefer standard KBS.
