Panther Cub by Founders. Imperial porter aged in bourbon barrels with maple syrup and vanilla extract. The maple is very prevalent. It's definitely is a nice touch, but an another dimension would be good. I don't get vanilla.

This is not your typical “ thin” porter. Nice graham cracker, cherry, coffee, porter. Full mouthfeel. Yumm!

Bourbon barrel and vanilla with almost a cherry flavor. Maybe a little graham cracker. Rather nice.

I would love to hold a little panther cub like a baby. But due to the nature of the animal. I cannot. So this beer will suffice.

Just okay. Quality beer by founders but not really enough vanilla or Maple or bourbon flavor to justify a $16 four pack. Disappointing considering how awesome founders usually is

Deep, deep brown on the pour, beige head. Sweet vanilla upfront, not getting much maple syrup. Whiskey booze hits at the end. Mouthfeel is a touch thinner than a barrel-aged stout, but still rich. A great after dinner sipper. For 9.2%, goes down smooth.
