This is tasty but to compare it to some of the OG draft versions I’ve had... it’s not even close

took them just shy of 7 years to bottle and distro this boi. Still as good as I remember.

I wish there was a little more bourbon than vanilla but it's dang good.

Nice aroma with the vanilla very prevalent. Very dark porter nice taste. I like it a lot.

Founders absolutely nailed it. Their barrel aged series is so good. Can taste the vanilla and maple notes in this one.

Had to try it as soon as I heard about it. Not as much vanilla flavor as I had hoped for, but bitterness of vanilla extract balances out the sweetness of the maple making an overall smooth, drinkable, and flavorful stout

So light and marshmallowy. Great taste with a boozy feel

Wow this is a very unique porter. The sweetness from the maple mixed with the vanilla extract is an incredible combination. On top of all that being aged in a bourbon barrel adds some boozy delicious notes to this one of a kind beverage.

Sweet bourbon, vanilla and maple all blend well together. Smooth mellow and so drinkable right away. Not much booziness at all. As good as I thought it would be!

Vanilla nose. Vanilla prominent, you don’t get much maple, which is ok with me. Smooth and creamy with hints of bourbon on the finish. Very nice!

Smooth and Sweet good Mouth feel would pair week with a good Cigar

Nice and roast. Maple is there without being too sweet. Slight bit thin, but maybe that is from expecting a big stout instead of a porter.

Not boozy and a bit lighter, but there's a nice sweetness going on here.

Really flavorful and smooth porter. Smoother than many bba stouts. On the sweet side as it warms, so I enjoyed it colder. Worth a try!

Lots of my favorite imperial stout flavors with a less heavy and viscous porter body. That makes me happy. Could live with a little more maple...as usual. 4.42

This is great, subtle vanilla comes through. Reminds me of barrel aged victory at sea hut smoother. Thanks Adam!

Oh porter, finally found a good one, this one is simply a very good porter, subtle coffee notes, maple, that helps hide the malts

Weirdly on the first few sips, bottle straight from the fridge, I tasted maple. As it warmed up, no maple - all vanilla. Still all great!

A well-made, balanced, barrel aged porter. The experience of this beer is all around solid, coming in strong with tasty maple syrup and vanilla extract, synergizing with the caramelly bourbon notes. Clean and dark, with good body and a nice malt bill.

A 4.43 overall for me. Sweet maple syrup, bourbon, dark chocolate, oak, vanilla. Medium plus body, soft smooth tongue coating. It’s no KBS or variants, but it is worthy and reasonably priced.

The vanilla and maple are subtle and the barrel aging is in point. Crushable..
