Initial bitterness (from coffee) is scary. Don’t love. However! It redeems itself be being smooth ! Coffee and chocolate yum 🍫 I would get this again! Amy rates it a 3. Maisha likes it more with a meal aka her fries !

Sots right on the line between the more roasty and more cold brew like coffee beers.Some spice, chocolate and toastiness on the palate. Has a really unique vibe, partially thanks to the blend of Sumatra and Kona coffee.

Honestly I love it! Smooth tasty and very smooth for a stout. My favorite from Founders. I’d definitely get it again.

Now contrary to what you might think you can have this beer even if it’s not breakfast, it was lunch when I got mine and I thought the bartender was gonna tell me to eff off but luckily the breakfast is just a suggestion.

Always a quality stout. Good amount coffee flavor and a hint of oatmeal. Great if you like a full bodied stout that isn't sweet like a coffee/chocolate stout.
