Lots of good strong stout flavor. Rich and deep, sweet and smoky. A higher level of carbonation than I expected, almost Coca-Cola levels. Flavor mellows to a pretty good facsimile of the old riesen chewy candy. Not as thick as you'd expect. Great beer.

Dark syrupy pour. Nice dark head. Low carbonation. Aroma of chocolate and malt. Sweet up front. Brown sugar. Coffee in the middle. Booze at the end. Like sweet dark coffee. A little lactose maybe?

Pretty damn good! Dark chocolate on the get go. Very strong. Clean and lighter for a dark beer.

More of an IPA kinda guy, but since I missed breakfast, this brew seemed apropos. Plus I've had all the IPA on the board here at the GRR aeroport Founders Bar ~ Churrs! ☕🍫🍺🥞🍳

Great taste and smooth. Has a strong dark coffee taste however; it’s easy to drink and isn’t overpowering.

The sweetness and roastiness are well balanced. Thinner than I expected for an imperial but nice bit to be drinking syrup.
