Malty and rich come through strongly at the start, but I don’t get any smokiness or peatiness, which would be a lovely addition. Very sweet.

Pouring a dark, thick brown with an everlasting massive fluffy head, and full of rich aromas of caramel and dried fruits, this one ain't for the wee lads. Its sweet malty flavors lure you into drinking, followed by more roasty and smoky notes.

A bit high in alcohol for me, but complex prune, cranberry and roasted caramel. Malty, but substantial hop bite belies the style. Tasty but best at Christmas
