5/24: Glad to have this near the beginning. The KBS variants are (as far as I remember) all better than the original. It’s too boozy.

Packaged March 2020 so probably has COVID in it. Didn’t age as well as I had hoped. Not a ton of sweetness and loads of coffee.

Founders KBS is the epitome of barrel-aged beer. This stout is aged to perfection in oak bourbon barrels, which imparts a complex and rich flavor that is truly unmatched. The flavors of bourbon, chocolate, and vanilla blend together seamlessly. Heavenly!

Mooie stout, goed doordrinkbaar met een fluwele koffiebalans met het vleugje vanilla. Relatief scherp als een klassieke stout waarschijnlijk afkomstig van de bourbon
