One of my favourite stouts of all time, it lives up to the name it has now become. I’ve been following these for years some earlier vintages are better for sure and I think that’s because it’s no longer seasonal and has become more mainstream for them.

Винтаж 2018.Нос.Горький шоколад,кофейные, жареные нотки, бочка еле уловима, копчено-жареные нотки. Плотное тело. Вкус. Умеренная сладость, горечь, темный шоколад, немного кофе, немного бочки и виски. Идеальный баланс, но от вкуса ожидал большего.

Lekker (erg lekker!), maar misschien toch minder dan de niet-BA versie. Veul koffie en chocolade, beetje vanille en behoorlijk boozy. Bitter & zoet met een typisch koffiezuurtje. Puik!

damn good not as good as CBS but much cheaper, deep dark brown/black with small tan head hits you with black coffee chocolate and bourbon on the finish beautiful beer

Black tar pour with chocolate head. Deep, decadent flavor without being overly sweet. Chocolate and coffee dominate. Bourbon barrel finish without overt booziness. Surprisingly smooth for ABV. Excellent.

Pleasant, mild chocolate flavor on first drink. Strong initial coffee aroma, less on the palate. Really coats the mouth. Definite higher proof, gives this a breathy feel on exhalation. Nice if you prefer chocolate and coffee in your stout.

Initial and strong taste of chocolate, with more subtle hints of coffee and oakiness (from the bourbon barrels). A nice, enjoyable beer, especially for those that enjoy coffee and chocolate mix.
