I’m not going to lie, I was a little let down after all the hype I’ve heard about this beer. Perhaps my taste is off. Strong coffee and oaky barrel notes on the nose. Dark coffee flavor upfront, midway slight oaky and very slight chocolate. Faint bourbon.

Advent 23/24 day 23 makeup beer - so many flavors now it’s hard to find the OG version. Great winter beer.

Great beer with notes of coffee and bourbon. Lightly carbonated and very pleasant to drink. Would buy again. Price 84 dkr

Definitely getting the bourbon barrel with a charred oak aroma. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel - classic stout flavors, roasted malts, chocolate and coffee with the slight extra bourbon booziness to it.
