KBS

Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

This beer taught us that patience truly is a virtue. KBS is a big imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolate and then bourbon barrel-aged to perfection. Incredibly silky and full-bodied with notes of vanilla, cocoa, roasted coffee and charred oak.

Crazy unique flavor, sweet but also bitter like dark chocolate.

Bartender's Sales Pitch: "Wah bro you like Stouts ah? I got this one damn rabak one." Thick and viscous pour. Initial mouth was heavier than expected, even for an Imperial. Tastes like a sweet, slightly coconut-y, double espresso on crack. Grows on you.

An outstanding Imperial Stout, it pours dark with a luscious brown head, with definitive bourbon and coffee flavor, and some hints of chocolate. Highly recommended

Another line drive hit from my homie, Lee! Had the Espresso, which was decent. But this one is the real deal. The flavors; well balanced, coffee and chocolate sharing the platform of a subtle bourbon barrel aged stout base. Great boozy bevy drinks smooth.

I’m not a big fan of stouts but I wanted to try KBS because it is considered one of the best. The chocolate and coffee flavors are very present and great, strong flavor. Packaged 2/27, drank 9/16, would love to try a fresh batch ☕️🍫🍺

Top 5 stout for me. Even with the high ABV It is still fairly easy to drink.

It's stout season for meeeeeee! This is the perfect way to celebrate the chill in the air, the change in color of the leaves, and the magnificent purple clouds of fall. Each note is powerful: chocolate, coffee, bourbon, and this stout is oh so smooth.

Needed a barrel aged beer to test my new glass and this is one of my currently limited stock. Still good stuff.
