In keeping up with my Stout kick, KBS come in dark and heavy at a boozy 8.2%. Unlike other stouts, the front starts off w/ a heavy roast like a fresh morning coffee. A deep, slightly bitter dark chocolate is next with an oatmeal center. Boozy, bitter end.

Wow, this packs a punch. First but was a little too much. But after a bit the flavors really come out. Very rich chocolate and coffee and a lingering aftertaste. Great beer for a steak dinner.

03.13.20- fantastic beer for a fantastic football free for all.

2018 variant. Tasting mostly barrel. Kinda one note and hollow. Thick but maybe a lil syrupy. Good but not great. I can see the hype, but does not hold a candle to some of my local breweries’ BA stouts.

Up there with Goose Island and Deth’s Tar as my favorite BBA stouts.

2020. Not the same. More coffee and less of everything else. It sure isn't aging well.

One of the most hyped beers ever?! Finally grabbed a bottle in a small convenience shop in Dublin. Bottled 4 years ago but plenty of chocolate and coffee flavours, and bourbon-y undertones. Glad I finally tried it!

Smooth for a 12% ABV. Perfect coffee note for being a double coffee.

Good, but only available for about $6 per bottle near me. It's not THAT good.
