What a treat! Have been holding onto this KBS for about a year now, and cracked it last night. Like a sweet cold brew with a kick of bourbon thrown in for good measure, this stout was delicious.

I never felt coffee and beer shouldn’t mix. Like Ghostbusters crossing the streams. Scratch that. This works. And we’ll. Maybe not wise to drink a night full, but a very nice blend.

Always very tasty. The alcohol and oak tastes at nicely balanced by the coffee and chocolate.

I mean, is a 12% so it’s gonna hit. But it doesn’t taste like a 12. It’s polite on the palette. Good toasty profile, aging is subtle.
