As close to a 5 without reaching it. A bit more complexity would have cut the booziness. Nonetheless, a very drinkable mix of cocoa, chocolate, and bourbon. A definite luxury on the home front. You can never go wrong with a Founders.

Honestly, as good as ever. The elements of this beer just fit together perfectly. The bourbon is up front with all of the adjuncts adding a note or two through the development without too much sweetness. Dry oak and malt bring teeth to the finish. Iconic.
