Was a time when this was my non-Guinness go-to for a dark beer. Balanced, smooth but with a bit of backbone to it. Roasty, some chocolate, coffee notes. Sweetness without being (too) sweet. Never really liked the European version though

I bought this thinking I'd never had it before... But an old check-in revealed I'd had it in '20. Oh well. Great Porter, and nice to have it again, even though I don't recall the first one.

Beautiful dark dark brown with thick tan head. Roasted coffee aroma. Perfect flavor balance between chocolate and coffee. Coats the mouth without being syrupy. Enjoyed it very much.

God maltsødme og karamell. Litt humle. Konsentrert og fin, noe boozy.

Smokey, roasty, dark. I gave this a really high rating before but the smoke is really putting me off this time.
