It IS dark, rich and sexy. The velvety chocolate finish is wonderful in my mouth.

smells chocolatey with a slight sweetness to it. tastes bitter, dark chocolate, hazelnut, little bit of dark cherry. heavy mouth feel. strong flavor.

This has all the components of a porter in my mind, roasted malts, but not overly, coffee notes but doesn't taste like coffee. Rich and decadent. Should pair nicely with a burger,steak or anything charred or fried.

Hard to fault this roasty, robust, slightly bitter porter. I’d take an eddy fitz over this but the margin isn’t wide.

Smooth, chocolatey, pairing nicely with my gumbo. Wanted something more authentic for Mardi Gras, but this is doing nicely!

Silky black with a creamy head. Chocolate caramel malt. I haven’t had a porter for awhile - reminder there are other beers besides industrial strength IPAs.

Ruikt naar koffie bonen met beetje chocolade en vleugje sherry. Smaakt naar koude koffie, maar dan in porter.
