Awesome. Just enough smoke from the scotch and a rich caramel sweetness. All the complexity of a legit scotch but without the bite. Incredible beer.

Great Backwoods weather today, been awhile since I had one. It's nice having it available whenever but I miss the old November release and scramble to stock up... Always my favorite of the Founders Barrel Aged Beers.

Best in class kinda beer. Absolutely smooth and surprisingly easy drinker for the 11%. Has a nice malty and oak smell that goes down easy.

Drizzling out so can’t enjoy this by fire. Guess Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade will have to do.

Don't often dole out 5's,but this is pure bliss. Very light smokiness. The bourbon is there. Not at all malty (which I find with 10%+ brews). I really like the caramel hints. Gentle sweet aftertaste. I just hope some are left at the store.
