single malt scotch, bourbon barrel aged, smoke, sweet caramel, dark dried fruit roasted malts .. BOOZY !!

Smooth. Sweet. Bourbon notes. Warming. It says sipping, but it went down quickly. Good 11% ale.

Otro misil de Founders muy fiel al estilo Scotish Ale. Color marrón oscuro con espuma (leve) color canela. Caramelo avainillado por las notas de madera tostada. Gusto licoroso que te llena la boca (quizás excesivo). No aparecen lúpulos en aroma ni boca.

Sweetness on the nose. Medium bodied as smoky notes develop on the front, then the scotch punches through strongly at the end with a little bit of that scotch burn down the throat.

Splitting this six ways, so I don’t have a lot to go by. I love strong scotch ales. This one has the right level of bitterness, and a warm, toasty flavor. Paired with family hanging around the livingroom
