This beer has a ton of depth, but it’s too sweet for me. It’s almost syrupy. Awesome flavors, beautiful color, but not my type.

Strong malty yeast med liquorice raisin figs fruits / liquorice dark chocolate medium bodied light dark fruits / finishes dry dark malt. Medium fine carb.

almost no trace of the bourbon BA, or the base Beer itself in fact, only the overwhelming, unpleasant booze. expected a lot more from this

Ale aged in oak bourbon barrels. Smaak van eiken vaten komt goed door. Mocht iets minder zoet. Lijkt niet zo hoog in alcohol.

A fine beer for a cold day. As with most Founder's beers I find myself wishing for a little more body. It has strong flavors but the mouth-feel is a little thin. I'd happily have it again but probably wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

Very creamy and nutty with a scotch-like aftertaste. Dried fruit notes on the nose and a decently smooth finish.

I really liked Dirty Bastard, so I grabbed a 4 pack of these. Similar to the Dirty Bastard, but thinner and a bit more dry. Worth a buy, at least once.
