I miss the old Backwoods Bastard, this doesn’t have nearly the flavor of the OG. Formerly my favorite beer, now I could take it or leave it.

Good upfront boozy taste. Unsweetened vanilla. Bitter chocolate. Fades to a sweet feeling on tongue that isn’t as great as first sip.

My husband LOVES to sip bourbon and whisky straight on the rocks and he likes this beer. 100% bourbon flavor, it's a boozy beer.

Tastes like bourbon holy shit. Not my favorite, only because of personal taste - if you like bourbon you’ll like this & if you like high ABV you’ll like this. Fun to try but not a new go-to, strong as hell.

Weak Malt cask caramel nose. Munich(?) Malts with a side of barrel and cherry. Some cheese helps get through this. $6
