Even though I typically like Founders, I put off trtung this because I thought the name was dumb and the bottle art unappealing. I’m glad I finally bought it. Very tasty.

Aroma: yeast, bourbon, vanilla, sweet overall. Flavor: crisp, sweet bourbon flavor followed by toffee, caramel, and malt, ending with a yeast note. Very little bitterness. It’s good.

Ooit eens in Cork een Jameson Red Brest op en deze komt heel dicht bij. De combinatie van zoete, romige tonen met een goede whiskey smaak!

Pretty tasty! Dark, sweet, boozy. Barrel-aged, but on the lighted side, with just a touch of bourbon. A bit more crisp than expected. Not syrupy.

Beautiful dark ruby red beer. Caramel from the malts along with cherry. The bourbon barrel aging gives it this vanilla note that works so well with it altogether. It’s equally beautiful to look at, smell, and taste. Love this.

Very creamy and boozy. You can definitely pick up on the whiskey flavor. Great late night winter beer.

Wow! This is delicious! Strong barrel presence on the nose. Caramel and boozy flavor on the tongue. I'll buy more of this!

2nd. On reste sur la sauce soja au nez, des baies (cassis, mûres) un petit côté caramel, une bonne dose de malt, le tout enveloppé dans le whisky/bourbon. Une belle longueur sur le biscuit malté (peu de sucre)

Vol en warm, whisky en rookje. Heel zacht, geen scherp randje te bekennen. Daarnaast karamel en eikenhout, grenzend aan kokos. Vooral na het wegslikken een dropje. Mooi in balans. Tja, steek je vinger maar op als je ooit een vies bier van Founders dronk.
