Went to founders for the first time in awhile, the draft menu sucks these days but this was a diamond in the rough

Surprised that I have not posted this beer before. Aged in oak bourbon barrels. Gives a great smooth taste.

Tasted this right after Dirty Bastard. The bourbon barrel aging made an awesome improvement!

Still one of the best Scotch Ales, IMO. Barrel just adds to th fun.

Great beer for sipping. Strong alcohol to it due to the bourbon. Nice and Smokey.

It’s not your typical 95 degree day beverage, but I’ll suffer through a Wee Heavy any day. This one ranks high, it’s Founders. Duh.

I’m not the biggest fan of bourbon barrel ales. This one is good. Starts sweet with a little caramel or syrup flavor and finishes with a subtle bourbon taste.
