Этот ублюдок пинается больно. Пока нос отвлекает сладкая карамель, в нёбо лупит вискарный спиртуозный хук абвешностью гораздо выше 11. Потом подгребаются жжёный сахар, хлебушек, сухофруктовые и кофейные переливы. Для долгого и эффективного прибухивания.

Stout escocesa al Bourbon. Densa, muy compleja. Su maduración en barriles de single malt whisky y de Bourbon le confiere unos sabores a fruta madura, caramelo, madera y licor. Para degustar con calma. 11%. Estupenda pelirroja.

A/Bing the Dirty and Backwoods Bastards. Backwoods is the clear winner, though both are good. Oddly, my own historical ratings are backwards, probably because I tried Dirty much earlier when my craft beer standards were lower.

Kräftige Bourbon-Note und ne sehr runde Angelegenheit. Etikett erinnert an Rip van Winkle, gute Kurzgeschichte.

The gold standard of scotch ales. A bit sweeter than your standard wee heavy, but a world-class beer. The right balance of oak bourbon, roasted malt, smoke, and traces of fruit. Outstanding.
